Through her expertise in providing career planning guidance and leadership- and talent0-development programs, she has served a broad spectrum of clients, including senior and mid-level executives at Fortune 500 corporations, entrepreneurial companies, and non-profit organizations.
Whether through executive coaching, career transition, or corporate change assignments, Kim has developed extensive knowledge about what causes executives and companies to succeed or derail. She has designed programs for and consulted with human resources executives on organizational development for managing redeployment, on-boarding, and internal career solutions for more than 20 years. Kim’s experience as managing director with a national human capital firm afforded her the ability to work with leaders across a broad spectrum of industries as well as manage a staff of consultants, with P&L responsibility.
Kim’s work successfully coaching hundreds of diverse individuals has received national recognition. A recognized authority on career management issues, she is known for her weekly “Career Rescue” advice column and blog for Hearst Publications. Kim also has been a contributor for The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi national magazine associated with more than 300 university and college chapters.
Kim is a member of the American Counseling Association, National Career Development Association, Christian Counseling Association, and Career Planning and Adult Development Network. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, and Board Certified Coach.
A Harding University Graduate, Kim holds a Master of Education in counseling degree from the University of Missouri.
