How can you tell you are not listening well? Here are some clues:
You start answering a question before the person asking it is finished.
You are focusing more on your response than on the interviewer’s question.
You are trying to give the answer you think the interviewer wants to hear.
You are thinking about what is going to happen next as the interviewer is talking.
You’re not asking questions. If you’re not asking questions, you’re doing more talking than listening.
